Crocheting

Finally I made three hats. Two for me and one for my baby cousin. But I think the color of the hat   was not  a good good combination. Well, I just actually used the left over short yarn given by my mother in-law, and surprisingly  I made one hat out of it! Never thought it could make into one hat.   I like crocheting, my mother in law taught me the basic and my friend helped me too.  After all their efforts, I figured out creating my own style.  During my practiced, I made a little bag that I sent to the Philippines . I do this when I'm feel bored and wants to do something productive at the same time. So, if you feel bored, this is one way of spending your extra time, if you can't think of anything you want to do.

Oregon trip

Such a pretty day at the Oregon coast. But as you can see were both wearing coats because it was so chilly even with sun.  I was playing on the very fine sand I've ever seen, while my husband was laying on the sand enjoying the sun and  napping, which you can see his foot in my picture he..he.... We  spent an hour, walking, taking pictures of sand dunes which are very interesting, chasing birds that are chasing seafoods , and watching kids sliding on the sand.

As we were walking along the beach, wind was blowing so hard that the sand formed interesting shapes.  We found a nice one where my husband was sitting.  We have seen lots of people were racing their motorcycles going way up and down the dunes. They were so adventurous to the point that their risking their lives driving up the very peak of the sand dunes with no protection on their heads. Though it was scary I still watched them. They were just having fun and adventure thinking nothing about being safe . We'll as an audience my husband and I were  really entertained with all the driving around and the sand dunes beauty.

Heavy rain soaks my soul

I was trapped in the house for three days straight as the sky fell upon the earth.  It rained so hard that the soil could take no more and the water begin to rise.  It wasn't that much different from the Philippines, but it certainly chilled my soul.  Truely I was really sick of being trapped in the house, so when the blue sky finally came out today I hardly noticed because I had withdrawn into my work or to escape the constant deluge.

Cabin ohh.. cabin....

Enjoying the water at the lake while my husband was taking a break fixing our dock at the cabin.  Such a pretty, calm water.  This is the place that my husband and I love to hang out during weekend.  Its very quiet and relaxing surroundings .  We spend out time boating, fishing  and biking around the lake.  At night, we toast marshmallow on the fire and sit by the fire watching the flames and enjoying its warmness.  We just love this place,  I wish we could live there someday.

Close call

I was the one driving our car today when my husband and I went to downtown Poulsbo.  We have a nice time together so far, when I reached the 2 way stop sign  and almost hit by on coming traffic .  It was my fault, because I was not fast enough to cross the road.  I used my break and stopped in the middle of the intersection and the car on my left side stopped too. The driver was wondering what I'm doing.  Just having hard time keeping up with the heavy traffic during rush hour.  Well, we're thankful that we didn't have a wrecked so far, just a close call that made my husband so nervous.

Little family

I'm wondering and worried whats going on with my family in the Philippines.  Its been days that I didn't see them online in SMS nor online in yahoo messenger, which is the easier way for me to  talk to them.  I left  an offline messages but I don't get any answer.  I'll give them a call today to check how they're doing.  I need to talk to my mother about the land papers and get the bed dimension so I could buy a bed sheet here.  Just hoping that they're doing good and the line will not be choppy again because this is always been my problem everytime I call to the Philippines.  I usually used skype when calling which is 24 cents per minute.
